🅿️ ANPR Parking - How Your Digital Parking Permit Works

ANPR-monitored areas makes parking easy, automated, and transparent for both companies and their users. Below is a step-by-step guide

Updated this week

🔐 The Permit – What’s Included?

Your company is assigned a set number of digital permits based on your agreement. Each car that parks under your company’s name will use one (1) permit.

👤 Company Admin – What You Can Do

As a company admin, you have full control over your company’s parking permits:

  • Grant access to all or selected employees

  • Manage license plates – add, remove, or update them

  • Track usage – see which license plates belong to which users

All this is done directly via the Parkit company portal.

🚗 For End Users – How It Works

If you are connected to a parking permit:

  1. Register your license plate(s) in your profile

  2. When your vehicle enters the area and is detected by the ANPR camera, a booking is automatically created

  3. When your vehicle leaves the area, the booking is automatically ended

There’s no need for any manual action.

🧮 What Happens When All Permits Are Occupied?

If all permits are in use and an additional vehicle enters the area:

  • A fee will be triggered automatically, based on the area’s local pricing rules

  • The charge will stop automatically when:

    • A car exits the area and frees up a permit

    • Or when the extra vehicle leaves the area

  • This charge is linked to the owner of the permit and will be invoiced accordingly

💡 Note: Local rules may vary depending on the site. If you’re unsure about the rules in your area, please contact your local site representative or property manager.
